About

Hi, I’m Gurjit Singh — welcome to YouMeGeek.

Why This Site Exists

I started youmegeek.com because I got tired of reading blogging and AdSense advice that all sounded the same — vague tips like “write good content” and “be patient,” with no real specifics behind them.

So I decided to document my own journey instead: starting a blog from zero, actually applying for AdSense, actually getting rejected (probably more than once), and actually figuring out what works — in real time, with real numbers, not recycled advice from ten years ago.

If you’re a beginner trying to make sense of blogging, AdSense approval, or basic SEO, this site is built for exactly where you’re standing right now — because I’m standing there too.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Honest AdSense guidance — real requirements, real rejection reasons, and what I actually did to fix them
  • Blogging setup help — WordPress, hosting, SEO, and the technical decisions that trip up most beginners
  • Real numbers, not hype — as this blog grows, I’ll share actual earnings, actual traffic, and actual mistakes along the way

No fake gurus. No “I made $10,000 in my first month” nonsense. Just one person, figuring this out step by step, sharing it as I go.

A Bit More About Me

My name is Gurjit Singh, and I’m based in Punjab, India. YouMeGeek is my first real attempt at building something online — not as an overnight side hustle, but as something I want to grow properly, post by post, the honest way. I’m learning blogging, SEO, and AdSense the same way most of you probably are: by doing it, getting things wrong, and fixing them in public instead of pretending I had it figured out from day one.

Outside of this blog, I’m just someone who got curious about how blogging and online income actually work — and decided the best way to learn was to build something real instead of just reading about it.
